Asleep At The Wheel!
|
Part of what you trust a money manager/financial advisor for is their ability to watch out for potential investment pitfalls and to be a diligent watchdog over your investments. Here, James Johnson of All Mark has failed miserably and short of a miracle, this will cost his clients thousands and thousands of dollars. One of the investments he recommended, the recently bankrupt Woodbridge Wealth, was under investigation by the SEC for fraud for over a year before they finally filed charges. During that time, Johnson went on merrily selling this product to his clients (and picking up fat commission checks) apparently oblivious to the impending peril.
Now that the SEC has officially filed against Woodbridge for being a Ponzi scheme, investors may see only a fraction of their money returned. After being burned by this "fraud" I wouldn't trust James Johnson to take out my trash, let alone allow him to touch another penny of mine. For many retirees and seniors, their life savings is now at risk in this billion dollar scam. Court proceedings could take YEARS and all assets have been frozen indefinitely. Some elderly investors may pass away before they see any of their money again and even then it could be only PENNIES on the dollar. BEWARE!
