I Couldn't be happier, Great service and price.

Bought a 1999 VW Eurovan camper recently from Allens motors Inc. Finding one of these at a fair price is no easy task if you can get them at all especially in good condition because they have a cult like following.
After checking out the dealerships reviews, which were 50/50, I was on the ropes but decided the chances of finding another VW Eurovan that fit my requirements and budget were slim to none. I visited the dealership and met Rick who showed me the Camper, Answered most of my questions and said he would get back to me on a few he wasn't sure of regarding previous work being done on it and we went on a test drive with me.
It drove great and I was interested but there was a dent on the rare corner panel and the bumper had taken a hit at one time. Rick explained that it was on consignment and the owner didn't feel the fixes were necessary to sell it and that normally they would not sell with minor damage but it was a high demand vehicle so decided to go ahead. "I am glad they decided to put it on the high end lot"
I asked for some more time to look at the vehicle and get a gut feeling as this was a big expense for me and I needed to be sure. Rick said to take all the time I needed. I decided I liked the vehicle but not the price and made an offer but said I still needed some time to chew on it. Rick contacted the owner and said that they would accept my offer and answered the few questions I was wondering about.
I went home to think on it some more and contacted a friend of mine that lives in thousand oaks to ask about the dealership. He is recently retired and owns a pimped out Porsche so I figured he might know about the dealership as they sell primarily high-end collectible vehicles near him.
He said he did in fact know the dealership and he and friends had done business with them in the past. He said they were fine and he had no complaints other then getting kinks in his neck checking out the cars on the lot while driving by.
I asked him about yelp reviews and he said, what is a Yelp? Lol, I realized that most people who can likely afford high-end cars or collectables probably are retired or don't take the time to do reviews.
If you are asking me if I would buy a car from them the answer is yes.
I also double checked the Free car fax they offered on there site with my own just to be sure it was the same one and it checked out a 100% I realized after the fact that it was connected directly to the Carfax site so it couldn't be faked anyway.
So off I went to purchase the Eurovan
Follow up:
I brought my camper to be inspected at United Auto Works in Canoga Park, Ca that has a Five Star Yelp rating, check it out! They went through it and said all it needed was new front brake pads and rotors in the near future, Which Rick also told me about, but that otherwise it was in excellent condition, Swweeeetttt!
It has been a little over a week and I just drove to San Louis Obispo, ca "6 hours round trip" to get my Eurovan pimped out and I couldn't be happier with its performance. I will be getting its bodywork at Allen Motors, which I negotiated when purchasing it.
I will do a follow up soon.
