The price was great and he had painted one of his friend's houses and it looked very nice, so we went with him. I should have figured it looked so good because it was his friend's house, but of course I didn't think of that at the time. I asked on several occasions who has doing the work, not because I was suspicious at all, I figured he would be doing the work. I was just confirming the details. He told me each time that he and his brother in law would be doing the work. Well, two men that didn't speak English ended up doing the actual painting, so I wasn't happy about being lied to or misled. Bob and his brother in law had prepped the paint and removed all these hooks we had in the house. To this day, I still find hooks in the grass. Then, Bob actually painted our shutters himself and less than a month later the paint bubbled up. I asked him to fix this, and he came by one morning and peeled the blisters off and painted over it with no sanding, so you can tell still see where the blisters are. He told us it was our old paint underneath causing the problem and he couldn't do anything about this. I feel that he should have prepped his work properly first and the blisters would not have happened. It's not the worst job in the world, I would just recommend thinking twice before hiring Bob. Paying a little extra money to a reputable company I believe would be well worth it.
