On January the 25th of 2007 I visited Century City Doctors hospital. I was billed for the visit in February of 2007 I paid the bill in several installments spanning from March of 2007 through August of 2007. My debt was paid. In 2008 I received a letter from a creditor CRMF that the bill had not been paid and they were working with the bankruptcy court to settle all outstanding Debt. I began the long and frustrating battle with them to prove I had paid the bill directly to Century city Doctors hospital. I moved to a new apartment in June of 2009 and CRMF followed my address I settled my complaint with them in august of 2009. The conceded that I had paid my bill in full. It was never placed on my credit report! Fast forward to Januarery of 2012 I check my credit report as I do every January. And to my surprise my credit score of 810 had dropped to the 600’s. I had three negative accounts! All three were from Fidelity Creditors for bills owed to Century City Doctors hospital. My first call to fidelity I was angry and vary emotional I work hard and pay my bills and felt taken. I spoke with a representative M.B. she explained why I had not received any calls or written notification of this supposed debt. It was my responsibility to inform them that I had moved from my resedes, and the phone # they had on file was disconnected and again it was my responsibility to inform them of a phone change. My response to this was how am I saposto know to inform you if I paid my bill! As we talked she let me know that they were working with the bankrupsy court. I informed her of my dealings with CRMF; she said yes I see we are now dealing with the bankruptcy court not them. I believe that they have bought a list off CRMF and are a predatory creditor. M.B. told me to email her my bank statements showing I had paid. I’m technology ignorant and can’t figure out how to block my account # on the pdf of my statement, and as this is still my account I did not want them to have that information. So I copied and pased the information on to a word doc. I emailed M.B. asking her to please reply that this would be sufficient, and if not I would work out a way to get the documentation san’s my account information. I did not receive a reply. I called twice using the directory looking up M.B.’s name. I was sent to her voice mail both times and left messages for her to call me back. When I did not receive a call back, I called and went to any one available, the representative then transfer me to M.B. I was much calmer and collected this call. I asked why she had not responded. She told me one they never respond via email, two she had not received any of my call. I called bad customer serves on her lie; she told me as well my email had not asked for a reply, again I called B.S. on her lie. She then told me that my claim was being reviewed. At last the conversation turned in to a pointless venture I hung up. I received an email from M.B. 5 min later stating that the word doc was not sufficient. This leads me to believe that there is no investigation, she had never read my email, and she is bold face lying about not receiving my calls. Fidelity creditors are a predatory credit company and need to be held accountable for their practices. I have looked them up on line and have discovered that many other Century city doctors’ hospital patients are going through this same fight with them.
