BEWARE - Here's my story:
I went to Growquest's website and placed an order for various ladybugs and praying mantis on 7/16/2010 - giving my credit card information at the time. I was really excited about this because we have a tree that sits over a koi pond and I didn't want to use chemicals to kill the aphids.
Anyhow, On 8/2/2010 I received an "updated" invoice (via email) showing they did not have mantis at this time and that they don't charge the credit card until the order ships and that we only pay for shipping via credit card and that the bugs needed to be paid for via check. So I sent a check for the $16.49 and it was cashed by GROWQUEST (I have the canceled check). I never received the order - even after several emails asking for status. I finally cancelled my order on 8/20/2010 after the owner's many excuses. I asked for a full refund at that time. On 9/26/2010 I made ANOTHER inquiry and finally on 10/3/2010 I was told a refund would be sent to me "Next Friday". On 10/27/2010 I sent another email stating that another month has gone by without a refund. My latest email was on 11/17/2010 asking again for a refund and stating that I considered the matter as a theft. I also cc'd the Ventura County Fraud Department (Catherine Mano). I have all emails on file. I also tried to call - but the message box was always full.
So - my advice - DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE!
