The moving company promised to deliver my furniture on Sunday, Oct. 11th between 2PM and 5PM. I waited until 6PM and when no one showed up, tried calling their office to find out what happened. They were not open, so I left several messages until 8PM, and was forced to looking into hotel rooms and buy clothing. The next morning I had to call their offices again (no one bothered to return my messages from the night before) to find out what happened. They informed me that they didn't know where my furniture was or when it would arrive, but that they would call me back when they found out. I called several times, and wasn't informed until Tuesday morning that my furniture would arrive 6AM Wed. morning. The company would not discount the price or pay for any hotel costs. Previously, they promised I could pay by credit card, but now they demanded that I pay in cash only ($803). Movers arrived at 7AM on Wed., and told me that unless I paid them $75 each cash, they wouldn't even open the van. I threatened to call their office, and they told me that by the time the office opened, they would be almost to their next stop in NY. They would leave with my furniture and I would get it whenever they got around to delivering it again. So I had to leave home, find an ATM, and withdraw an additional $150 cash to pay them off, ON TOP OF the balance due for the original moving cost. It took them 4.5 hours to unpack furniture for a studio apartment, which ended up making me 3 hours late for work. The customer service representative, Liliana, was very unhelpful and unsympathetic, and barely returned my phone calls. The company refused to make any concessions whatsoever in recognition of all the hardships I was being put through, or the additional money I was spending because of their broken promises. There are several moving companies in South Florida. Save yourself the headache and DO NOT CHOOSE THIS ONE!!!!
