ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS!

Shoedazzle leaves much to be desired IN ALL WAYS! As a fashion review columnist for several online publications and blogs, I have a loyal following of fans who look for great recommendations of web-based platforms to purchase great clothing, shoes and accessories. I have been VERY PLEASED with the service, professionalism and quality product offered by JustFab, http://Heels.com and ShoeMint in addition to others.
Joined up ShoeDazzle Monday 10/22....and saw some fabulous booties off the BOGO section that I wanted to make part of my wardrobe. Unfortunately for me, Shoe dazzle doesn't leave CLEAR instructions as to how the BOGO deal works. All it has posted above a picture of the product is "Buy 1, get 1 free before styles sell out | All Sales Final"....no directive, no instructions that one must select 2 pairs of shoes prior to checkout, nothing. So I went ahead and placed my order of the booties and I was charged the full amount, no problem, but where is my Get 1 Free?
Called customer service, and after a long hold, spoke to one, [we'll call him J], who right off the bat was defensive, passive aggressive, interrupting me before I got halfway explaining my issue and snarkily informed me that the BOGO protocol is self explanatory and largely OBVIOUS for anyone who shops online. I informed him that I review sites such as this one and this purchase/customer service experience HUGELY explains all the negative reviews I've seen online. He said he was just doing his job. I asked him to walk with me through the website, as we both attempted to make a BOGO purchase simultaneously. I then asked where the site makes it obvious that 2 items have to be purchased at the same time either via directive or at the Shopping Cart page - which other sites plainly explain in various ways
1. Numerous pop up windows alerting you that you have only one item in your cart, OR
2.In bold that you must select 2 items to take advantage of the BOGO deal, OR
3. When clicking on "Place Order" an alert flashes and asks if you're sure you want to only purchase 1 item.
The above courtesies via windows/alerts/bold font are made OBVIOUS on other sites, why not theirs? I posed this to J who defensively informed me that this is just his job, they have a huge warehouse, all he can do is the best he can do and try and make a cancellation on my behalf, no promises. And in that moment, I felt sad for him. Sad that their front end web engineers, at 2 clicks, can have something up that will save J and all his harassed, overworked co-workers the drama of taking care of something on the back end, that could have been taken care of at the front end of the business.
To my added dismay, I was drawn to the site to take advantage of the first time buyer 20% discount. I would understand if stacking of discounts is not allowed, however, there was no clear indication in my cart or in my Account section of my eligibility to my discount, which is a factor that drew me to the site in the first place.
Back to JustFab/ShoeMint/Heels.com I and my blog fans go.... Oh and cancel my order, now and in the future. THANKYOUUU!!!!
UPDATE: J just emailed me, explaining his effort at taking care of my order. That he has put it into effect and is keeping his eye out for it. Thanks much J, I appreciate the effort and I know that your hands are tied in regard to your site's engineers/company policy/returns&cancellations etc, ...I understand, I really do. But until I am satisfied with my cancellation, and prompt credit of what I paid, my review stays up.
