The person that posted this complaint states they purchased an exhaust from a distributor of STILLEN in 2003 or 2004. However, they have NO receipt or proof of purchase for either the part or the installation. All STILLEN warranties (90 day, 1 year or lifetime) are offered only to the original purchaser. Additionally, up to 2004 we did not offer a lifetime warranty on the exhaust that this person states they purchased. We began offering lifetime warranties on many of our exhausts after this time period (2005 on) but have never offered them on a retroactive basis which is what this person wants us to do without any proof of purchase. We did offer to sell this person a replacement part at our cost and offered to ship it to him for free but he turned down that offer.
