I have been workning on a loan modification with William D. Goodrich since July of this year. I was told in the beginning it would be about a 3 month process. My husband and I are in desperate need of help as most of us that are using them are and did not have the $4000 to spend on this modification. I have faxed my documents to them 4 times, I get a call that says they never received my fax. That is scraring me. Did anyone else have that same problem? I have sent an e-mail to everyone letting them know how disappointed I am and they for the most part are always very nice and helpful.
I spoke to my mortgage company tonight and they have no record of any discussion with William D Goodrich's office. I have spoken with a Naomi who told me just today that the mortgage company was requesting more paperwork (same I had already sent in 3 times). Wouldn't my mortgage company know if they had requested more paperwork?
George has been very helpful and comforting.
Have I made a bad choice? I am very hopeful, this seems to be my only choice outside of foreclosure.
One gentleman mentioned his mortgage company said he should have just gone through them, I tried to but they were not interested in helping me out at al; now they seem eager to.
Any advice?
