Another highly disatisfied customer to add to the many others on Schumacher Logistics list

We have recently moved from South Africa to Lexington Kentucky. Our mover was Stuttafords Van Lines and Meditteranean Shipping Company who were fantastic and their communications system on the progress of our container could not be faulted. It all fell apart on arrival in the US when our contracted cotainer was handed over to the Shumacher Logistics Group. Poor customer relations, poor communication in not returning calls or emails, and just bad management of the contract was the order of the day. The final straw came when we were given less than 24 24hrs (via a third party company, not the 3-5 dys as mentioned on their web site) notice of the delivery of our container resulting in the rescheduling of diaries and extreme in convenience in order to recieve the container. To cap it off we were stuck with a bill for for demurrage despite the emails and phone conversation from our side voicing our concern. Read the other reviews and think carefully before you decide to use this company.
